Description So, I've seen a lot of people questioning how Lloyd could have blonde hair if both his parents had brown hair.

Then I'm the one sitting at the back of the room clearing my throat, raising my hand and yelling:

"Ahem, WU HAD BLONDE HAIR!"

Not saying Misako and Garmadon, didn't... ya know... but who's to say?

all we really know about Misako, is shes Lloyds mother, she works at a museum and shes got a thing for her husbands bro.

Oh, and she can use spinjitzu, but only if it's necessary for the plot.

anyway I'm done complaining for a little bit.

Ninjago belongs to its owner.

No rude comments please! but if you think I could do something better, let me know!

have a great day everyone!

EDIT: I just realized my sleeve is messed up massively XD I might fix it later.

EDIT2: and 15 minutes later I solved the sleeve problem (IRONY XD)

actually, it's all genetics, you see the First Spinjitsu master was a blond and his wife (unknown) must have been a brunette. so Wu inherited his fathers dominant blond gene, and Garmadon got his mother's dominant brown gene. so Garmodon's gene-type is Bb and Misako's was the same so if you plot it on a D.N.A. chart you will clearly see that their was a 25% chance his first son would be blond, so that's how Lloyd got his hair color.

Trust me, i'm a nerd/fangirl, i even calculated the ages of the ninja. i have wayyyy to much free time.  :T

Nah, it's totally possible for two brunettes to have a blond kid.

See, each person actually has two "copies" of every single gene in their body. You get one from your mom and one from your dad. These copies can come in different "versions" - like for hair, there's a "version" of the gene that codes for blond hair, one that codes for brown hair, etc. Some of these versions are "dominant," meaning that if you have two different versions of a gene in you, the dominant one will "win."

Genes coding for darker traits are usually dominant. So the gene for dark hair would probably be dominant to the blond gene. If you have a gene for brown hair and another gene for blond hair, your hair will be just as brown as if you only had brown-hair genes.

So, basically, both Garmadon and Misako would have to be "carrying" the blond gene; they both have one blond gene in them, but they also have a brunette gene that "covers" it. This actually makes sense, because the First Spinjitzu Master was blond; he would only be able to give blond genes to his children. So Garmadon must be carrying a blond gene. It's quite likely Misako could be carrying one too.

And by dumb luck, both of them happened to give the blond gene, not the brunette one, to Lloyd. With no brunette gene to "cover" the blond gene, Lloyd is blond. There was actually only a one-in-four chance of that happening!

Well, i don't know, if i can explain in english, but i'll try.
We don't know, but it's possible, that Lloyd's Grandfather/-mother had blonde hair (or Misako's Grandfather/-mother).
So it's possible that Lloyd got the genetic trait for blonde hair
God, i wish i could speak better english
But still, your solution is pretty funny xD
