I've been especially into my favorite mobile game lately, Afk Arena >w<And so I wanted to draw two of my favorite characters as a pairing, Thane and Gwyneth
I guess it won't make much sense if you haven't played the game, which I recommend at least checking out for the beautiful art style and characters!
but here is my headcanon
I like to imagine Thane became instantly infatuated with Gwyneth, because she's such a strong, poised, and beautiful young woman. However, because she is the daughter of a respected comrade, and he considers himself to be such an 'old man', Thane feels shame and embarrassment for such an 'unprofessional' crush.
Despite the both of them being rather stoic and soft spoken, the two keep sharing quiet moments of almost intimate interaction. Both care deeply for one another but neither, having grown up in such a strong military like environment, really know how to pursue the other.
Estrilda is constantly encouraging Thane to reach out and interact with Lady Gwyneth more often.
