I like this game, sure it's glitchy but it gave us amazing music, Two of my favorite characters(Silver&Mephiles), and the best story in any Sonic game. I'd love to see a remake in the style of the Advance and Rush games.

I think that you got lucky.....
The platinum hits version is really the same game, but packaged differently.
All of the glitches are still present, but there IS a way to play the game without any major glitches, so ya.

I've played Sonic The Hedgehog (2006) three time and I don't find it that bad. Maybe it's because I'm use to the controls, the story or the fact that there is a beastiallty (correct me if I misspelled that).
Other than that, I actually like '06. Even in fact, I plan to do a LP and a review on it in the future.Β
(I still think that Rise of Lyric is worse).

My main reason for being ok with this game is because this is the game where Silver makes his first appearance debut Β and also despite being rushed, it had lots of beautiful scenery and a good story line, shame they weren't able to give it more time into this game, that could have turn out great...i mean, so much potential, only for it all to be ruined with bad timing, pointless dialogue,and lets not forget all the glitches and loading screens...still, given the chance i would so try to play the game, and i provably wouldn't stop till i finished the whole game...

Sonic 06 Was My first sonic Game.
It's what Made Me a Fan of Sonic.

Well the thing was sega won't EVER send out a game past the promised date, so this happen with both sonic 06 and rise of lyric, they promised to have them out on the dates and they were out on those dates but the thing is they got all the main game and couple side missions but didn't really go through the games and check for glitches, but hey it's fun to find glitches in games, so yeah I understand that they don't want to disappoint their audiences so they just send them out on the right days and never have a late day

I still hate it how people still talk bad about this game when it has been 9 long years. It was unfinished and rushedΒ because of the stupid fans. Atleast talk about some new like Sonic Boom, that's a bag of shit right there.

Exactly. What drives me away from hating this game is the fact that I'd be joining with a series of social rejects who whine about the game on a constant basis (not applying this to people who simply don't like the game).
Also, a lot of people do talk about Boom, usually when they claim it's better than 06 by means of damage control.

What I also hate is that people say it's the "Worst sonic game ever" but when Sonic Boom comes in, they're all like defending and complimentingΒ '06.
Also, they spam "better than boom" all the time.
