Avi and Lanii had been patrolling the more desert-like area of their territory when they heard a loud crumbling sound. As Lanii turned to as Avi what it was she felt the ground beneath her feet give way, and she screamed. Avi immediately grabbed at whatever he could, hoping to save Lanii before she could fall into the pit. To his surprise he got a mouthful of fur and pulled, making a rather frantic Lanii even more confused. They both stilled, not knowing what to do with Lanii's new ... attachment. Eventually Avi shook off the shock the slowly pulled her onto solid ground and into a strong hug.
