Finally this monster is done and I can start on other big projects - I didn't even think it was possible to spend so much time and effort on one piece, maybe I should do it more often.

Better late than never, right?Β Your background work is something else, you have such depth in your piece it's insane, going from the far off mountains to the spruce trees underneath the ledge! So much detail ππ You are such a fabulous digital painter, the more I look at this the more detail I see - like the slightly translucent clouds over the mountain? THE BOMB. Not to mention your character work, the dark characters really pop with all the colour and dazzle of the background; there's so much detail on them, and I don't envy you for having to do that brindle patterning.
