Oooo, ooo, did you see that guy who did a super realistic nidoran line and then made up that they 'evolved' into other 'mons based on the environment? That's what this reminds me of. But make no mistake this is suuuuuper cute on its own. One can never have enough nidoran iterations.Β

You know, even amongst the Marshmallow Fluff and Ancient Elegance... it's still just too hard to resist the default. And that sure is the most accurate description I've ever read for a Nidorina.

Though from a creative standpoint, I think I'm most drawn to "Royal Guard"
Maybe it's because of that series of Pokemon cards that had odd types and the Female Nido line were Steel Type.

Hah, I like how you refer to nidorina as "A blue thing". All the crossovers are really fun and represent both pokemon well. I especially adore the sandslash and buneary versions. That rhyhorn looks like a grumpier, spikier version of nidorina. Love it! You make these look so fun... now I must resist the urge to do something similar.

Calling it anything definitively would be projection, really, until Game Freak says so for sure (read: never). Also acceptable is "whatsits", "mishmash", "chimera" and "natural disaster". I don't think there's any Pokemon out there that has as many animal traits mashed into it as the Nidoran line does (even Nidoran itself isn't just a rabbit), which is why I feel like next to Bulbasaur (a name I'm growing less fond of because it has implications that were never supposed to be. The french"Bulbizarre" has the right idea and is just as catchy), they really represent the monster part of Pocket Monster so well. They aren't like anything you'd expect to find in the world, which I wish I could say about all the bird and bug Pokemon they keep pumping out (I love Fletchling et al, they get a pass, but I really didn't need a pigeon knock off in a world of fantasy monsters. 
Aside from being the monster's monster, they pioneered the sexual dimorphism. And are the second largest family of Pokemon. And yet they still get no regard. Good grief.

I'm not either, which is why I wanted to stay out of it. However, what cinched it for me was that either Nidorina wouldn't be done at all (a tragedy), or would be done with a skew (possibly worse, as people'll get the wrong idea. You know, all "BUNNIES 
I feel like I picked a balanced bunch of Pokemon she could fuse with. I know these catch on on Tumblr, so I wanted to get a definitive, fair version out there. Well, Goodra was just me being silly, the toxic ooze version was going to look more like a regular Nidorina at first. Royal guard is also a just for fun idea.

That right there! That's what Toxic Ooze was going to look like before it became more Goodra like, but with Nidorina instead of Nidoran. I don't know what changed my mind, but cute picture!
