Ohhh...I remember that! He was my favorite character, for two reasons: He had a lot of his share of his moments throughout the series, sometimes stealing the spotlight from his fellow classmates! E.g. being sick with strep throat ("Inside Ralphie"), fantasizing that he is a superhero with powers to control and manipulate weather ("Kicks Up a Storm"), fearing that Ms. Frizzle will transform his mom and his classmates' parents into vampires ("Going Batty"), or building a look-alike robot to do his classroom chores ("Flex Its Muscles"). 

Also, he's one of the reasons why wearing baseball caps in a backwards position was cooler and stylish back in the 1990's!
