One of the most realistic, best terragen render/manipulations i've ever seen, & i've seen alot! This is outstanding work, excellent photo integration, & a clear, crisp & highly detailed rendering that looks just as real as the photo's integrated. Outstanding! It's truly a rare event that i find a convincing terragen rendition.

Awesome. Where should I start? Lets start with the Terragen! The terrain is flat out amazing. I love the ledges and rocky areas. The cliffs bring out an amazing amount of detail in the actual terrain, I can only wish to be able to control WM like that. The over all slope is awesome as well, it is amazingly natural. The water really belongs where it is, and technically there are no traces of "Terragen" If you look at it at a terrain standpoint. Furthermore the lighting is right on, I love how the highlights and shadows lay accross the terrain. The texturing is right on. Although most of the texturework can only be seen in the background it still looks great! It reminds me of all the european mountain images I always see. The variety of color is great. I love seeing those nice golden yellows in the landscape. The texturing just works... The water! Awesome. The only problem with the water is the foreground waves seems just a litttttle bit to big. This is amazingly subtle critique though, they really are not that bad at all, the rest of the water works perfectly with the manipulation and the overall composition of the work. I love the shadows and watercolor that are produced by the water. Yum. Also, the contrast areas are great! Such great contrast throughout the whole image, very awesome.
Finally, the manipulation. Great angle man, I really like the angle of the trees and how they create a very nice "imaginitive" slope beyond the frame of the image. The colors work great with the Terragen render. The positioning is just superb. The lighthouse is an added subtle bonus. It isnt to distracting, but yet it gives the image a human quality that many artist strive to achieve, but cannot. I cannot tell if that island is an image or not! My bet would be it is though, you did a great job at intergrating it into the water. What can I say? Awesome, and I cannot wait to see more works from you! I have always enjoyed viewing your images on renderosity, and I am glad to see you come on over here to dA and post another one of your amazing images! I hope this becomes a growing trend, we need more terragen artists like yourself in this community. You will influence many artists here, and I hope some of us can do the same for you as well!
