done for 's contest~! X3!!! Yeah I've been spittin' out art lately. It's cause I have a lot of art to finish up! @_@ I have abunch of other pieces to finish up before Dec! So yeah, I'm pushing myself to finish them.
edit: I toned the down colors! X3
Done in Painter IX and Photoshop CS2

Ohh, I love the soft, painterly quality of this piece. The hair is beautifully done, as is... the MOON! >w< It's so lovely.
I just have one minor crit, though, and that's the clouds. They kind of seem "sharpish"- not soft, like the girl. *w* I'm not sure if you meant for it to be that way, but I think softer clouds would be more befitting of this piece.
Other than that, beautiful job. :3

I love the blue dark of the entire image ... and then... the moon and his self glow and the sea glow.. Those little details make pieces like this so real!

yeah, I'm sure it is. I can't tell on my monitor because it's LCD laptop monitor. So it washes out color if I'm not viewing it in photoshop. But I'm not sure if photoshop's color profile is the one most people view. T~T I've tried to look for window's color profile, but I can't find it.

I can't believe no ones commented or fav'd this yet. Now, what part of it is in photoshop and what part is in painter? Could you explain to me why you like using both softwares please?

Oh! I did most of the painting in painter~ And then I did the effects in photoshop, like the glow around the moon, and the bright dots and stairs. ^^ I also played with the colors abit in photoshop too. Editingn is easier there~ Painter isn't so good with that.
