So here's the full animated book and Kickstarter trailer for my illustrated story "The Lair of the Clockwork Book", which has been updating twice weekly at Thrilling Tales of the Downright Unusual ( [link] ).

The story will conclude in April, and once I've finished the last nine of its 126 illustrations - any week now! - it'll be collected into a paperback book.

The second half of the book trailer promotes the Kickstarter project ( [link] ) where I'm trying to fund a limited, hardcover edition. Because this is the way Kickstarter rolls, the hardcover edition will only be published if the entire funding goal is met... by February 28, 2012.

So if you like it.... tell everybody!

The trailer uses some new animation and quite a few stills from the book's illustrations, all by me, of course; the two musical selections in the soundtrack were lovingly extracted from a pair of films, now in the public domain, from the Prelinger Film Archive. They just don't make 'em like that any more.
