As a Matter of Fact, This IS Rocket ScienceWell, come on. Sometimes is just is. I wore a shirt with this design to the hardware store one day, and the woman behind the counter just sort of sat there and stared at my chest (karma?). Then she finally asked me if I was a rocket scientist, and I said "Yes". But you know, I felt guilty about it afterwards because I'm more what you'd call a rocket artist: mine don't actually need to fly.
Anyway, once again this is a combination 3D/2D piece, with the final layout in Photoshop.

Ooops! I did get your reply to my last posting a while back. I tried the link, but I can't find the shirt with this logo. This was my favorite T-Shirt to wear to work when I was on the Yale University Help Desk. They might have been rocket scientists out there on the other end of the phone, but when it came to computers, not so much. I love the artwork and the sentiment.

I have the t-shirt with this design. I think I ordered it from Canada, but I'm not sure. The poor thing is tattered and holey now. Any chance you can point me to a site where I can buy another one? I also have the coffee mug, which is still in fine shape

I have the same t-shirt (and the matching coffee mug). The t-shirt is full of holes and I would love to replace it. I remember ordering it on the internet and I believe it came from Canada. Can you, by any chance, supply me with the name of the vendor.

I love this style of art. It's like a Heavy Metal style mixed with Danger Mouse toon style... no offense, as I really like those styles and the art. Well done in whatever style it is precisely.

I think that on some level Rocket Science is pretty much subjective.

I really love your work! We could defaintly use somone like you.....Me and a lot of other artists and writers are creating a city fom scratch, buildings, stores, characters, parks, everything a normal city would have. The characters in the city are from every final fantasy, xenosaga, kingdom hearts, legend of dragoon, legend of legaia and any original characters created by me and the artists. I took a free font called "WashingtonD" and copied its capitals into its lower case, at a smaller size, to make a variant of my own. I've been using it a lot ever since.
