So are these for a game or just for fun?

Im not decided yet because even if ill make a game then i dont know if i will release it, rocko characters are copyrighted, not sure how license holders would react to this.Also im not sure if i should make beatemup game where characters would use their hands and legs to fight or give them some toy guns or something. i.imgur.com/7ZG2hDQ.png

Oh, I only asked if they were making a mobile/DLC game and you were working on it.
As long as yours is completely free and not making money in NO way or form and it doesn't damage their image. It should be fine.
Maybe email them and ask about licensing fees. Then you could actually make a Rocko game and sell it without any legal consequences since you'll have a license.
So besides that stickman program, what are you using to make a game playable? Unity?

OpenBOR engine, its playable on my android phone, specifically for beatemup games like final fight or streets of rage, i prefere not to ask before i start the game cause maybe ill make 1 level for fun, then i can ask because if they refuse then i wont make the game at all even for myself but i would like to play such game with rocko characters.

I like the first one but maybe different color pallet.
RML has alot of Orange, purple and green. I do like the designs of the buildings and bg.
If you need help with anything Id be more then happy to help out.

Looking good. I know these types of games dont have much, but is thereΒ a way to put an eye tracker/null. There eyes make them feel out of place.
Well there was that SNES game, im sure the rom is somewhere on the net, maybe pull sounds off that.
I dont own the DVD, but if the audio track is multichannel (non stereo), maybe theres an isolated non vocal track you rip and use. Otherwise maybe sample/loop some audio when theres no talking.
Also how are you capturing the video. I use VLC on Windows to play it. opening up quicktime gives me an error. I wanted to go frame by frame to have a closer look at the animation but couldnt

Im using potplayer or kmplayer to watch videos, thers no way to do that with eyes cause all frames are prerendered gif files, it is possible using other game engines but animations would look bad cause most cutout style animation engines if not all dont use deforming on body parts and im using it heavily thats why anims look fluid.I also changed resolution from 640x360 to 640x480 but im not sure if its better i.imgur.com/YkNPevD.png

Resolution is fine, just the compression of the videos makes it hard to see alot of detail is all.
Gotcha, btw I was looking more into OpenBOR, I have ubunutu 13.04 set up as a VM on my Windows machine.
I still cant find a good site with resources for OpenBOR.
Have any good links to start learning it?

chronocrash.com forums , its best to download manual and unpack some games that you like the mostΒ from pak files and start modifying them, thats how i learned, you modify something and see what it does to the game.
If you will get openbor running on your machine then i can send you link to very early version of rocko game.
