My first character for Valley of SiyyonName : Pavana
Gender : Female
Age : 25
Territory : Skeo
Rank : Omega
Occupation : Jeweler
Species : West African Black Crowned-Crane
Height: 7’5”
Hair : Black and Gold
Eyes : Light Cyan
Personality :
Pavana is quite laid back, like most of her kind. She’s very mature and prefers to keep to herself most of the time - though she does enjoy the occasional socialization with other taurs.
She is a bit of a free thinker, and whereas she’d rather just prefer to be by herself, she’s not shy - and is not afraid to speak her mind. Despite her occasional brash attitude, she’s quite docile and very patient.
She spends most of her time doing one of two things. She can be found foraging on the ground trying to find objects to use to make jewelry. Or, in tree tops assemblingher prized jewelry. Her people are known for their songs and dances. She takes part often, but she’d just prefer to sit back and watch.
[EDIT - I forgot to make some of her tail feathers a light gold. That has been fixed and the color has been added to the color palette. ]

She's a very interesting character and I love how you incorporated the elements of human and bird, especially the hair and how you managed to conceal her top with the use of feathers. I just love it, when people try to design their taurs human part to reflect the part of the world the animal part is from.

Thanks! I was debating back and forth on whether to use dreads or the bush for her hair. I liked the idea of dreads cause she could put a lot of jewelry in them, but they'd be a hassle to draw all the time.

Yeah, I wanted to tie in not only the fact that the animal is from Africa - but my financé is from Africa too so I wanted to pay a bit of homage to him and his family. Since I'm caucasian, I did have to ask him and his sister a bit about culture and such because I did want to incorporate that into her personality as well.

This is a gorgeous design, and I think it reflects her personality a lot. She reminds me of the group of people in high school who'd speak their minds a lot, though they weren't mean: just honest.
