Update 8 - Added new style with a 24px TaskbarUpdate 7 - Font change from Arial to SegoeUI
Update 6 - Changed the color of the taskbar text to white
Update 5 - Some people have requested that I include both the old version of Lucent (without borders) along with the new one (with borders). The old version of Lucent still has and will always have the gap at the top of web browsers because there's no way to fix that.
Update 4 - Borders are now lined up correctly for all browsers
Update 3 - Now with alternative images for the navigation buttons ( see them in the preview )
Update 2 - The small taskbar background is now fixed
Update 1 - Theme now displays under installed themes correctly as " Lucent"
My version of a minimalistic Windows 7 Style
This visual style is displayed best with the "Frost" color at 0% transparency as it appears in the preview

Instructions
1. Patch your system files using the Universal Theme Patcher
2. Install the theme
Copy the "Lucent" folder and Lucent.msstyle to your themes directory: "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\" (the path may vary depending on your OS)
3. Change the windows navigation buttons
Use Windows 7 Navigation Buttons Customizer by Kishan-Bagaria to change the navigation buttons; images are available in the folder "Lucent\Images"

This theme is great. The only problem I have is that I can't see what I am selecting in explorer. Do you know what image I need to edit.

The problem is that my brightness is darker than yours. You can either lowers yours or edit ItemsView::ListView > ListItem > Selected. My buttons are transparent so you might not see them in the preview box.

For all w7 themes, for some reason I keep getting the same dark colour for my window title bars instead of it being transparent like it shows in the previews. Can someone help? Here's what it looks like. [link] keep in mind I haven't changed the navigation buttons yet, I'm focusing on making these windows transparent first.

Start orb > Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings(Left Pane) > Advanced > Performance Settings> Enable "Show shadows under windows"

Hey, I installed this theme and it's great ! Good Job !!
I can't get to change the navigation buttons but that isn't a major problem and is not your fault so I'll leave it there, but what's bugging me is that the task scheduler has some black bugs which make it unusable with your theme^^' Have to switch back to 7's original theme to see something ^^
Am I the only one, or is it a problem with the theme ?

as told i patched the three files (64bit) "installed" the theme to the described folder, but all it does when i try to change the theme is, switching to the Win7 non Aero style!? Any ideas?

You say you changed the font from Arial to Segoe UI, but the theme is still in Arial for me. I didn't install the fonts at first since I'm running Windows 7 and so Segoe UI was already installed, but I installed them and reapplied the theme, and it's still in Arial :/ Fix?
