Description HI!

Part of mess studio's Keen project, "ninja talkshow," 3D model of SULLENS ninja. Flash powered Animation will demonstrate the model's 360 turn, in 2 modes, textured, and poly only.

Model was built, mapped and rendered by myself,
original sketch-designed, textured and flash animation composed by HOON.

Sullens is a powerful dark ninja community in the NINJA TALKSHOW universe, posing as a villian force.

This model is still under development. talented 3D animation artist James AKA Liukangwins, is working on rigging and animating it.

FLASH plug in is required to view the (interactive) animation, and its 10meg heavy. be sure to equip yourself with broadband and watch your back when you lift this badboy!!

thanks!! yeah its pretty old!! i've got new models in the works but i don't want to post them up yet

it's actually self illuminated, but i think hoon just made the texture really dark

poly count is in the 6000 region

Really well modelled, it looks really clean, no smoothing errors or anything. You would make a great video game character modeller, your stuff is really nice.

Very good work...To answer the questions of most people here, and maybe to help hoon out; all you need to do it set the flash animation to loop and it works just fine in both instances. For deviant guests you guys need to right click on the flash image and select loop from the player/plugin options. Hoon to fix this just set the animation to loop by default. Great work!

sorry about that! i have no idea whats wrong with it, i didn't make the flash hoon did and he said that there were a few bugs! i'll try and get hoon to have a look at it.

ok well I sat here for a long time and I have DSL it loaded to 100% then I seen both models then run your mouse over the colored version it moves around ....run your mouse over the other side and then it starts to load again
I don't know is there a way to fix this I am I doing something wrong?
Its a nice model you did but the flash made me very confused

yeah theres a few bugs in the flash, i'm not sure how to fix it as hoon made it, i made the renders for teh animation and he stitched them together in flash. sorry if it's been an inconvenience!

thanks!! glad you like the model, the model including the two swords and sheafs come in at 6642 polygon count, but i didn't really have a limit, although this could be used in game platform also.

yeah i understand what you mean about the fake shading, the textures aren't really finalised just yet, HOON still has to tweak it! hehe! thanks for commenting!

but yeah 3d max i think is pretty easy-ish to use! the interface is friendly and making a box is the first steps of getting into 3d modelling! theres plenty of online tutorials that you can use to learn from, but messing around is the best learning advice i can give you for modelling! *^_^*

anyways i usually do mess around with programs, one day i will learn how to use 3ds max, but for now i think ill stick to cinema 4d and photoshop

I have 1mbit DSL - the file loaded for a couple of minutes though... probably because DA is not the fastest server around Anyway - it's very good so it was worth to wait a while
