I don't have a tablet. I didn't sketch it on paper, either.
I just opened GIMP, created a blank canvas and used my mouse to draw it. (And I also used my laptop's touch pad for some minor details.)

I see, I realized that after I posted it...I'm tarded xD I don't have a tablet either D: I find drawing with the mouse to be really awkward/hard to do, any tips? I'm primarily a traditional artist, though I may expand into digital as I get better.

Well, if you have a specific problem I may have a precise answer.
But here's a few things to consider:
- Get yourself a proper program (GIMP/Photoshop/Paint Tool SAI)
- Layers are your friends.
- The path tool is really, really helpful.
- Learn to use filters.
- The higher the resolution the better.

No specific problems, other than a general preference to traditional art on paper. I haven't actually tried digital much but they come out so beautiful that it makes me want to at least give it a chance to grow on me xD Thanks for the tips though

Nvm dude...*feel stupid* I'm just so used to drawing on actual paper that I didn't really think that through xD. Drawing by mouse must be really hard though, I don't think I could ever manage digital art D:

I am talking about a sub-meme or an in-joke or whatever you'd like to call it.
Point is, there's a running theme that Fluttershy is a tree. Or would like to be a tree. In the same manner that Scootaloo is a chicken.
