I really like, pardon the pun, the bubbliness of this piece. Derpy reaching out like that with the bubbles all around hit me right in the d'aw and feels. A few things though, I think the shading is a excessive on Derpy in particular. I believe the piece should have more light in it to help with the overall pop.
The colors are spot on though and even though I just nitpicked at the shading I really like the shading and highlight in Derpy's mane. Her eyes are wonderful and I think that the bubbles being reflected in them is a very nice touch.
The background seems a little under-worked considered the effort and detail involved with the rest of the piece.
Final thing I have to ask, what the hell are Trixie and Twilight down there? Magical Unicorn Head Crabs?
