Description
It's HIM, the Blue Breitling.Matthias' flying career began before the war under the tutelage of Aviation pioneer Anthony Fokker. In 1914 he joined the Prussian Uhlans and did reconnaissance work for the first few months of the war until he found an opportunity to join the German Air Service. Here he also served in a reconnaissance role, scouting the newly formed trenches on the Western Front and keeping a close eye on his cousin Kludge who was still serving with the Saxon Uhlans.
Eventually, Matthias was granted a fighting role and became one of the first pilots to join Oswald Boelcke's newly established "Jasta" squadrons.
Because of his past experience with flying, Matthias easily soared through the ranks and was one of the best pilots in his Jasta. His skill didn't rival that of Boelcke or Immelmann, but many saw him as a possible contender to their fame.
Due to his success, he was granted command of Jasta 91, taking the place of its old, crippled leader Karl Von Krusmarck.
He brought the Jasta back to its glory and is known as one of the best leaders in the Luftstreitkrafte.
Matthias is a compassionate person. He always puts his pilots before himself, even risking his own life to protect theirs.
He loves animals. He has a standard poodle named Missy and a large black horse ironically named Kleines (small).
He comes from a very wealthy family. He grew up alongside Manfred Von Richthofen and has always been very close with his family.
