Description
All right, since drawing each individual soldier again and again was more than troublesome i made a base body and just drew the uniforms on them. The poses and the whole thing was inspired by non-nobis-domine 's Nazy uniforms - part II . An effective way for clothing sheets. But let's begin.- Aviateur: As it names suggest these are the pilots of the republic in a warmer, practical and less sharp outfit. Since the use of aviation in war is a new concept for the Chedrihan military, their pilots still tend to dress like civil pilots in comparison of their Gombostonian counterpart, for example footwear and trousers. Beign an Aviateur in the Chedrihan military is a really unappreciated position as both the military funding and the attention is taken away by the ground forces. As a result of this Chedrihan planes are always second best, if not worse and can only be used effectively in great numbers. Due to this conservative thinking the Chedrihan Air Force is usually fulfil support roles than being the spearhead of any assault.
- Fusilier: These young volunteers or conscripts are backbone of the Chedrihan military and the most common sight on the western front. Since both their equipment and training isn't suited to last long, they are the ones suffer the budged cuts the most as their iconic footwear stand as a testament for that (fully tailored jackboots are too expensive for them). Fusiliers while are superior to Gombostonian Volksgrenadiers (more of them later) they always pay their toll against those who had the time to finish the original Gombostonian training program making them rather mediocre in the Chedrihan wars. Still as long Chedrihan stands Fusiliers will stand tall to attempt of pushing back the Gombostonian hordes.
- Grenadier: The elite of the elite. Most of them started off as Fusiliers, the Chedrihan Grenadiers have been trained and been perfected in war, equipped with the most advanced technology at hand, Grenadiers are far superior than the average Gombostonian Army. An assault supported by them can turn the tides of even a desperate battle. However they are few in numbers and if that would not be enough, obsolete Chedrihan military thinking also weakens their ranks. Rather used in large numbers to break through critical parts of Gombostonian lines, they are scattered along the main front line in hope to increase the overall quality of the army, wasting their offensive potential for defense purposes.
- Officier: All the men who lead the tattered Chedrihan army on the battlefield. Not better trained than Gombostonian officiers, but their motherland's desperate situation and nature makes the more efficient and better coordinated than the enemy's. United by the threat of annihilation and not divided by personal interest, the Chedrihan army moves like a well oiled machine making the most of the limited resources that their ruined nation can provide.
- Général: What positive the field Officiers can make, it is usually ruined by the officiers in the war rooms, the Générals. Products of the previous wars, the Chedrihan High Command is always a step behind Gombostonians, forcing obsolote and predictible doctrines on the army. But regardless how desperately it needs a blood freshening Générals rarely get selected from the fresh battlefields, but instead libraries or among the veterans of previous wars, making them the greatest internal threat to the Chedrihan Army and potential for Gombostonians.
Edit: The Grenadier's outfit had a small problem needed for correction.

Well, each to his own. I usually play Heroes and Generals which is a WW2 f2p game. A mix between battlefield and red orchestra.
Allthough I hate to rely teamwork and coordination, since it's usually non-existent, so I rather perfect the one-man army identity.

I play Heroes and Generals. I play the soviets a lot since they came out. I'm a tank driver, and my tank's fotted to provide support for infantry. I turn into a moving shooting spawnpoint with an ammo crate and madical supplise.

Well, I mostly play on germans side as mere infantry, mostly being commando. Tyranio's MP 40 and two AT mine and I'll be creepin' in the close combat envoriment and yeah I do have a soviet one as well which is just a mere rifleman with 4 mines at now, so it's a long range saboteur.
My anti-tank tactics are to just run to them plant a mine, step away a few meter and shoot the mine. It destroys anything regardless that it explode near it or the tank drives on it. 9 out of 10 occasions the tankers don't even know I'm around and isn't protected by infantry. It get's a bit embarrasing when tanks just mass into one formation baraging and I destroy them one by one with the cheapest weapon in the game. A whole box of mines don't cost 2500 currency.

excelent tank busting sir!
I also play the Germans a lot. My highest level soldier is a German infantry. I fitted him with a stolen ппш41, Soviet grenades, and a knife. That was before the Soviets were added so now you can't unlock those as a German, unless you already did. I prefer the russian SMGs.
As for my Soviet soldier, he just drives arroung handing out medkits to his comrades.
(slightly unrelated) I one killed a man in that game by-and I kid you not, by hitting into him while I was on a bike going down hill really fast. I didn't know that was a thing until it happened.

Thanks, certainly better than shooting 3 panzerfaust on even the lightest tank, using them overpriced magnetic mines or carry a panzerschreck along the match.
And yeah I do remember the post-soviet era, allthough I sticked with my german weapons. The soviets are superior in clip size and rate of fire, but unless you are really fighting in close quarters, you are going to have a hard time. I think we all know that ideal combat situations are rare as white ravens and quite too often you have to fire from the hip. Now within the same room, that can be achieved with soviet SMGs, but on a longer distance they are weaker and horribly inaccurate. I mean I had an american who I literally had to shoot with the highest damange bullet on a 100m distance with the starter SMG 8-9 times until it died. The german one took it out in 3 shoots. Of course that 50 bullet difference can mean life and death in close quarters, but that really depends on one's playstyle. I usually use everything in mid-range (except sniping, but I'm not there yet, so I only use looted ones every now and then)
As for grenades, pistols and knives... I only bring the main weapon and AT mines. The latter is for a situation that needs AT support and the other is for obvious reasons. Even in close combat bullets are more effective and one can rarely live to use up all of it's ammunition. And grenades are just too expensive. Even some minor modifications and the bullets eat up most of my salary and compared to mines, grenades are way too overprized despite their dubious effectiveness (usually you throw them in vain or some idiot comrade runs into it's blast).
So yeah, I remain that commando guy, who does not work with anyone (mostly because without proper coordination random players are more of a burden), ambushes other's in unexpected places, litters strategical chokepoints with landmines or sneaks up on unprotected tanks.
As for unbeliveable things, I once drove my full health gaz through the fields filled with soviets. I tried to break through the wooden fence (which was always possible), but upon inpact my vehicle exploded and the fence remained undamanged. A suicide and a lot of team kill chalked up instantly. Which is funny, because you don't explode after ramming a tank.

I suppose Soviet SMGs are less than remarkable in long distance combat, but I usually play on small maps. I once went on a 6 kill (and nearly 7 if my idiot teamate didn't run me over in his car) rampage with a knife. I am also very close to unlocking a Mouser C96 for my German, which is my favorite pistol of all time. (In close second would be the Soviet Takerov.)
For the Gaz, all I can say is, sounds like that was one hell'ova ride.

Tyranio In reply to LevIsacovich [2015-05-05 04:57:14 +0000 UTC]
Well even then the basic SMG is just suited for woodland combat or doing house clean ups. The PPSH 71 is far more potent, but again accuracy and stability give way for clip size. And yeah that's sounds nice, I can only imagine in what situation you managed to do that. I usually don't have heroic moments just exceptional performance... like killing everyone on a gaz (4-5 people were on it) with one MP40 clip while it tries to ram me or just go full stormtrooper on close combat areas and clear out a house of 3-4 enemies. But I did these with an MP40 so that isn't too heroic, but more than above average.

I unloked the greas gun as a US soldier after getting my PPSH, but then the Soviet faction was added and I started playing as them 80% of the time. Other 20% I'm German. I haven't played the US sinve the Soviets were added.

WOW! these are gorgeous! the Chedrihans are pretty snazzy with their deep blue uniforms! Without doubt they are more accurate and historically correct than mine!! Very good job, I love especially the grenadier.. the helmet looks so serious!!
are you planning to do the uniforms of the other Nations too?

Thank you Yeah, now they do command a little more respect than before with that previous circus drag.
And yup, the idea is to make each great nation it's individual uniforms, based on historical armies they inspired of. Lastly the Gombostonians will be made, as they will have 3 army (empire) and the paramilitary uniforms such as Katherina's private army ect.

Thanks, it's faster (and less tedious) than drawing the 50-60 uniforms of the whole world with invidual poses. So just mass produce the base and play dress-up game. Allthough the Gombostonians will going to live up most of it as i have to cover 3 Empire with them and their para-military organizations such as Katherina's militias.
And yeah, now you mention it it start to ring some bells to me as well. However it was unintentional It mostly inspired by the WW2 French leadership with their WW1 thinking and stubborness.
