- Peacetime Uniform
A dashing uniform from the glory days for the war which would restore the glory days. After their last defeat in the Fourth War of Gombostonian Aggression, the Bureau de Guerre didn't wanted leave anything up to chance. To ensure the superior morale amongs the ranks, their uniform was designed true to good republican military traditions. With double breasted coats, golden ornaments and long gaiters, the glorious past surely marches among Chedrihans. Some naysayers argue that the deep blue uniform is far from practical or suitable for the modern battlefield, but what do they know. With superior morale and preparations, the heroic sons of Chedrihan shall sweep those Gombostonian monkeys from the fields and usher in a new golden age of the Republic. It's imperative that they look good doing it.

- War Uniform
Five months of intensive fighting and the war remains undecided, in spite to all those preparations. The Gombostonians already began to introduce austerity meassures and Chedrihan military style held out long enough to claim this victory. However, if the Republic wishes to claim other victories as well, it's necesseary to follow their example. The coat was shortened, the trousers, equipment simplified and the number of ornaments reduced. A lot of fabric, leather, metal and eight button was saved per uniform. Surely this would be enough until victory is achieved.

- Late War Uniform
Few things are given the chance to die with dignity. The Chedrihan army was no exception. As months became years, more and more compromises had to be made on Chedrihan traditions to the greatest annoyance of the Bureau. Economic recession and the devastation the Gombostonians brought on the hinterland's industry, the military slowly loses the means to ensure the "superior morale" or any to begin with. By the end of the war Chedrihan soldiers had to make do without such luxuries as backpacks or gaiters, properly dyed uniforms or leather. Not that they had anything that couldn't fit in a breadbag.

- Post-War Uniform
While the war ended in defeat, casualties were still amounting on the Chedrihan side. The new hastly elected government's first course of action was to kick out all the methuselahs from the army and the Bureau de Guerre. Many who failed to do so at the surrender, have commited suicide to avoid this disgrace. It was the least they owed for their terrible misconduct. In their stead came the people who's last confrontation with Gombostonians weren't three decades ago and brought daring new reforms from the battlefield. A new earthly tone replaced the deep blue with a lot of the austerity meassures kept and even some Gombotonian ideas adopted. Nothing was sacred anymore. To alleviate the pain of the dilettante citizenry's pride, the soldiers were given Chedrihan blue sash as a memento of the old days, but no further decoration was allowed.

With those insufferable Gombostonians now fighting a defensive war against the Dubrovzkans, the chance is nigh to reclaim what was lost and wipe off the shame of past defeats by writing the new pages of military history.
