For those asking about Herbie, he unfortunately does not belong to me (I WISH!). He lives with a woman local to the area (I live in central Washington) who nurses injured owls, birds and other flying friends. Herbie is her "Teaching" owl, and she takes him to schools and other events where she can teach people about these gorgeous animals.
I also want to add, that he was very fascinated by our toes, and was on the floor at one point, nibbling on mine, and then staring back and forth between his and my feet. One of the most amazing experience I've had, and I would love to go back someday.

I didn't even think to take a video at the time honestly (though, my hands were full with my camera, my mother would have been the one to take it lol). If i ever get the chance to see him (or any other owls) I'm definitely going to take some videos!
