Description
Another old idea using Pimp My Gun [link]Boom Blade. Combination of combat knife and frag grenade. Imagine being stabbed and then having your insides ripped apart by a tiny explosion.

i would make it with both a safty pin and a presser release on the handel so u can pull the pin the stab and not till u release the handel then it would explode. or u can make it like a balistic knive that after it launches it arms and it dosent explode till it imbeds its self into someone or something.

I mean this respectfully. What we've got here is a silent backup weapon intended to be used an indefinite number of times changed into an extremely noisy weapon made to be used once. Furthermore, the call for close-quarters explosive weapons is, as a matter of necessity, rather slim.

The idea is actually really good, though I would forget the pin idea, and go for a button that detonates the explosive charge instantaneously.

the explosion would be small, only enough to turn your insides into mushy paste. I wouldnt want to have the pin though, cause youd have to pull it prior, or during the stab, so thats a bit difficult

You COULD keep the knife in an arm sheath, connected to the pin with a piece of steel wire or something. Put some barbs on the blade and you'd just have to shiv the fucker and pull away.

Well, I would imagine that the blade would penetrate the victim, then explode inside, so even if they would survive the initial puncture wound, the explosion and shrapnel would lower that to near 0%
The pin is cool, but the practicality of it is a little less than a button detonator or a similar method

I can see a six to ten second delay with the model you've chosen. The concept is good. I like it. I can see it being used like a throwing knife with the detonation after a successful stick that's not a kill.

Hmm i liek the idea, just it seems.. kinda bad to have one on you.. and i dont really see a use for it, unless there is a timer type of thing on it.. liek, stab BIG guy, pull pin, then a min later BOOM, but yeah idk...

Ten yeares ago one russian inventor proposed something like this, but he used not explosive, but gunpowder and not outside, but inside special frag blade.
One-"shot" killing stab, safe for fighter.

Also, imagine the pin getting stuck on your shirt sleeve and the knife exploding in your hand.
