I like to think that in the very beginning with Three young orphans finding each other, starting to stay together while struggling to survive in the streets and alleyways in a Unknown kingdom (an more Urban kingdom in the future) A kind elderly stranger just happens to find them, and took great pity on them, and took the three orphans in as Young apprentices...This kind hearted person would be Merlinus Ambrosius (Merlin)
He would give the proper education they've very much needed. They would be living near by the Desert Kingdom, with Layla and Shere causing mischief and Blu trying to be more mature, as they start growing up.
