In Sif's previous life, she was a notorious hacker to access any server and every electronic hub. Her brain neurons were genetically enhanced, so she can process over a thousand different tasks online, and still be sane enough to drink tea with a friend. Her feats became great, and many reckoned her as the Queen of the Net.

However, she was attacked mentally by a viral attack barrier, barring her from accessing the network and her body. Her neurons couldn't send a signal to her heart, and so she died. She was then revived, or rebooted, into a cyborg body with an artificial heart, which contained a power that grants Sif the ability to upload the "Tree of Knowledge" into her victim.
