The problem is that x y z are highly discontinue so I don't think de is good (or no and why)?

Yes but if fractal has cuts reflects won't work and the noise will kill all
A bad de is not ok but cuts are just evil

So this smooth on reflections - is result of cuts? Here original shader and reflections very smoothed too
I don't like "bad de" because too slow, but what to do... we just take already done shader and make fractals

Nono, serious now, how do you see xyz are chopped off? I see what are maybe cuts in the ribbons, but they are looking Nice, they make this render extra special to me... No?

cuts in the ribbonsI understood Yes, that's all from my programmers "ignorance". I just get one a piece of code and put into another ) so than see what happens
here replaced in Kleinian_test23.frag:

to
float th = abs(0.5*Thingy(z,TThickness)/1.-DEoffset);

I also saw bad DE in the original by Jos, fuzzy black spots and cuts if not navigating carefully. He did write somewhere: "Help with the DE would be appreciated" or words like that, so he is aware himself that there is room for improvement with the DE.
If not solvable we just have to learn to love cuts and fuzz ;}

Yes some of them are nice! True... But yours are almost always taking my breath away, quite a different league
Had a look at your modification, I got the nice bands also with KleinI=0
Have tried now to put it into the final DE after
p-RotationCenter;
Some intersting deformations (also has your rotations and my reciprocalZ3b but you can just switch that off): testCJRmod
