A friend of mine gave me his Usagi action figure from the 80s 8DDD .... ....he's so ugly.. it's awesome.[link]
I don't get to draw expressions like this often XDDD Every time I opened my sketchbook to look at it after a brief period I'd crack up if I do say so myself.
I would like to point out that despite my ridiculous number of Japanese-esque pictures... this is the very first one with sakura in it
I should've saved this until tomorrow but I couldn't help but show it off now XDD

I had to start sorting the kinds of toys out into different boxes. Samurai toys here, tiny toys there, Bone toys here, SpaceGhost toys there, etc. I have a whole box of Kinder toys! And I have a box of military toys, a box of Gundams I need to build, and a box of tanks I need to build.
And two boxes of TMNT toys, not counting the ones I think my mom either has or has thrown away.

I have the Space Usagi version of that, it looks the exact same, only with a robo eyepatch.
I think the creators were trying to mirror the seriousness of the samurai.
