A friend of mine gave me his Usagi action figure from the 80s 8DDD .... ....he's so ugly.. it's awesome.[link]
I don't get to draw expressions like this often XDDD Every time I opened my sketchbook to look at it after a brief period I'd crack up if I do say so myself.
I would like to point out that despite my ridiculous number of Japanese-esque pictures... this is the very first one with sakura in it
I should've saved this until tomorrow but I couldn't help but show it off now XDD

So this was the idea you were giggling about in the car. Yep, I can definitely say you pulled off exactly what you had in mine. I would have gone for have the pauldrons and greaves screwed into his bones the way they are on the figure, personally.
But that expression is right on the money. Good acting on the non-plastic furball too.

Yep XDD I had another expression for non-plastic Usagi in mind but I'm glad I went with this one. I like it a lot more.
XDDD I thought about it but I see the armour on his arms have a painted on string. It's the ones on his legs that are screwed into his bones XDDD

I still think having them screwed into his bones would have been fun - probably would have gone some way into explaining the look on his face too.
