Maybe he does, but he's never carried the wound over the reset, so it's strange.

It might be like the Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzimiya anime, where certain events have to happen several times before a sort of 'reflex memory' begins to build up.

How do you draw ribcages like I have tried and I cannot but you do it so well.

C-Puff In reply to DarkPitftw [2017-03-02 17:29:09 +0000 UTC]
I think I'd have to try and show in a video how to do it? I mean I could. It'd be easy.
But to just explain it as best I can; After I draw the curve of the spine, I start with an oval, mark where the breastbone is. I draw the curved clavicle and hook it around his shoulders. Then I draw the ribs. There are 5 (not counting the clavicle) and the 5th one at the bottom splits into 3 more ribs.
Then I draw those weird things that connect the ribs to the breastbone.
Then I add details and the 2 floating ribs under the ribcage (In real life there's actually more than 2 but I cheat anatomy a lot)
While drawing the ribs, I mark what is a rib and what is empty space so I don't get confused later.
Honestly I should probably make a video >.> Generally I want to do question demonstration videos as a Patreon reward, but I don't have any patrons yet, and maybe I can do it as an example of what I could offer as a reward tier.

Omg I wasn't expecting an actual explanation on how you do it. Thanks, though! That does help ^-^ But yeah I'd love to see a video, too, if you could.

I may do that, yeah I'm doing this weekend's page and I have a commission I need to work on (as well as some other things) but I'll try and find time to do it maybe after next week or so? I'll try my best
so check back around then and hopefully I'll have had time to do it.

I found it funny that as a skeleton he was able to bleed. But Pap does not find it funny at all.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
C-Puff In reply to Lord-Kiyo [2017-01-08 13:36:31 +0000 UTC]
Well they're skeletons... but they're not human skeletons They're made of magic. So bleeding (somehow) makes sense!

Lord-Kiyo In reply to C-Puff [2017-01-08 20:35:26 +0000 UTC]
Then it makes you wonder if the monsters have organs. And if you think about it, their blood would not have water in it, since its described that humans are made of water and monsters are made of magic.
👍: 0 ⏩: 2
ZaCloud In reply to Lord-Kiyo [2017-01-15 06:04:38 +0000 UTC]
Monsters might have at least some organs; the talking plant at Grillby's (I think?) mentions that monster food is directly absorbed, but human food has to be digested, in one end, out the other. So, maybe monsters each have varying kinds of organs depending on their species. Though to that degree, skeletons probably aren't compatible with human food, which was why in the old Undertale demo, Sans drinking a human beverage had it going right through him. But he most likely can eat/drink monster food/drink just fine, absorbing it in his mouth.
So maybe skeletons make up for the lack of digestive system, by having a circulatory system in their bones. All human/animal bones are full of marrow, which includes blood. Maybe the skelebros have that too. :3

Lord-Kiyo In reply to ZaCloud [2017-01-15 08:23:18 +0000 UTC]
Well with the idea of absorbing and with how that plant explained it, there may not even be a need to have organs at all. Plants don't really have organs, but they are life forms. So it is possible. Your idea of marrow is a good idea. Or perhaps it was not blood at all. Maybe its kinda like sap. Or maybe its ketchup, since Sans seems to eat alot of it. Also if I remember right, Sans is the only one that bleeds in the game. But who knows what that could mean.

C-Puff In reply to Lord-Kiyo [2017-01-08 21:47:44 +0000 UTC]
I think they have whatever they feel is appropriate to have if that makes sense. Like, Sans doesn't have organs but he bleeds because when you get hurt, you bleed. so it makes sense to have blood. You know? It's that kind of logic.
👍: 0 ⏩: 2
ZaCloud In reply to C-Puff [2017-01-15 06:05:16 +0000 UTC]
Real skeletons (human/animal) have marrow in the bones, which contains blood. So, maybe the skelebros have that too.

C-Puff In reply to ZaCloud [2017-01-15 13:15:46 +0000 UTC]
That's also a possibility. although I don't think it would be venous blood.

Lord-Kiyo In reply to C-Puff [2017-01-09 00:45:34 +0000 UTC]
Well if that was the case, I would kind of expect him to comically geyser gallons upon gallons of blood. Just to be funny.

C-Puff In reply to Lord-Kiyo [2017-01-09 00:48:32 +0000 UTC]
I don't think they have any conscience control of it. It's more like the rules of the world as dictated by the magic they're made of.
It's not Toon Town
