hehe, I haven't decided on a price yet, but I want to aim it between the $30 and $40 USD range. Would still like to make it cheaper, but sadly there are a few components that take quite a bit of manual work to make (such as the TwiGun itself, which is "precision crafted" /sarcasm).

I hope I can buy one soon, Gotta start saving up so I can snag one. It looks soo fun and my friends would love to play it with me i bet. This was a great idea you came up with and it actually looks like a real game board even the logo'd title. I cant wait to see what the game peices look like. did you make them all yourself?

Hey there. My, that's a nice OC. ^^

And thank you! Yesterday at my meetup, most people told me the same thing,... that my initial $30 USD price range was too low-balled, and that I should explore the $40 option. To be fair, there are some pretty intense manual processes involved (such as making the Twilight Gun itself), so I guess it's only fair.

Although it looks like a single player, it is in fact meant to be shared -- back at Bronycon, people had a blast with the carnival game version (despite being plagued with technical problems related to the cheap non-Nerf gun used then).

It's not technically a board game -- more like one of those novelty games that usually have some large fun gadget in them. But I WILL be working on a real pony-based board game next, and it'll be loads of fun for sure!

Everything about this one, though, is hand-made including the box and insets. The pieces two, although admittedly I didn't make the cups (just decorated them). :3

Well it sounds awesome really, i do agree that 40$ should be the lowest you go for the game. I cant wait to see your next one if it will be a board game, but im still gonna buy this one cause it sounds so fun. Man i wish i could of went, then i could of played it even if it wasnt perfect. Hope everything goes well for you!

also i think its amazing how you make everything yourself, other than the cups hehe.

Yes, as of right now the first retail copy has been built and shipped off. Wish I had taken some pictures (so you can see it with cello wrap), but there's plenty more where those came from, so lots of opportunities later.

Besides, I want to get these finished so I can return to my poor comic, I neglected it all week trying to get Changeling Challenge finished. XD

And well, before the cups I had thought of making my own targets using heavy paper; but this was before I decided to go with Nerf. Due to the shear ripping power of the dart, I needed something sturdier and cost effective, and ultimately the little plastic shot glasses one the day. ^____^;

I just wish I could have gotten to the board game, that one would have brought in LOADS of smile (being a 4-person game and all). This one is just a Nerf Gun decorated with a pony skin, some cups and a fancy box.

haha, technically it is "finished" in that the development work is all done. Now begins the replication, and that has no set end date cause I'll make as many as the demand calls for. So far I have 3 orders, so that's what I'll be working on.... I have enough material for about 30 right now. ^___^
