Happy New Year everybody! ^.^This year we plan to take SDC to new heights of adorableness, starting with CC being, well,... herself.
(as in KEWT!) ^^
Watch as she parodies a certain magical girl anime that, IMHO, was to Japan what MLP:FiM was to the US and Canada, only 10 years earlier. Had the series been ported over unadultered, with no hideous edits, then MLP:FiM would not have been anything new but simply business as usual.
But well, better late than never. ^^
Notice how DD is starting to get into the swing of her crazy useless power. ^^

You're not talking about Card Captor Sakura, are ya? Because that didn't have a bad dub... it had a complete reedit, butchery and bastardization of the original masterpiece, in order to suit what Nelvana thought American kids wanted.

Thank you! DD does that a lot... you can think of her as being either very wise, or very used to CC's shenanigans... either way, there's very little left in the world that impresses her.

haha, well uselessness IS in the mind of the beholder... in the right hands or with an open mind, it can be pretty darn useful for something (at least to make a quick buck).
And thank you! The next one is already storyboarded, just have to vectorize it -- the third episode will be pretty challenging, though, so that one I may need to hand-draw mostly. ^^

The trick is that (with some few exceptions), the uselessness is measured in absolute terms rather than relative ones.
Meaning that while the overall item is largely useless as a whole, it can still be useful for unique situational instances.
