first off - a sketch. draw a circle. i use lines so i know how and where to place the eyes, nose, and muzzle.

now add the nose/muzzle. depending on your style, you can either Urnam7-it with the muzzle pointed out, or simply draw a line or two above the nose to 'point' it out. usually, i only draw a pointed out chin if it were a tom or a older senior warrior. i draw she-cats more of rounded chins c:

now add the eyes. eye styles are limitless! add in eyebrows if you want. thick ones, thin ones; whatever! : D also, eyes add emotion as good as any facial expression. use this to your advantage!

remember: in order to have a good 'view' of the face, make one eye slightly larger than the other. DO NOT use this for front-views or side views. only three-quarter views. (for dept xp)

now, add in the ears and fur. remember, dept! o:
