Description Some ppl might remember the lineart of this a while ago. I said I was going to try to colour it digitally in detail, but I realized a long time ago that would never get done. So... Since I've been doing these portraits lately, I thought this might as well be one of em. This one looks a bit different cuz

1. The paper's not yellow...
2. It was inked so the lineart stands out a bit more and
3. It's Sora

Tear's portrait is gonna have to wait, cuz she's being a pain to draw...

Wow, that looks great!hey when(if you did)sketched it, what pencil(or whatever tool) did you use?

If you say HB or 6B or 4B, I hate you(Just kidding). My HB and 6B and 4B don't do that type of sketch and I get really P.O'ed because I've always wanted a sketch like that, but maybe that's one of the reasons I suck, or opposite, I suck because I don't have a really special pencil to make "those" types of sketches

i used a pen and a number of pencils ranging from HB to 6B

Darn, that is some very impressive shading on this picture. I love how all the tones blend together so smoothly, but there's also crosshatching to show some good contrast, too. I especially like the "iron-y" shading on the chain links. I can't think of anything to critique on this one. I noticed that one ear is showing, but the other isn't, but it's easy enough to assume that his random hairstyle is covering one of them up, so it's all good.
