These are my test-drawings that I did to get to grips with this comical duo, just before their inclusion in my SSBF comic.

They've had a bit of a make-over. Scratch's eyes are now properly joint, like most of the cast of Sonic, and Grounder's body is a bit more polygon-esque. I dunno, it makes him seem like he's a house-robot from BBC's Robot Wars or something.
They are made more dangerous in terms of weapons, too, since the comic has a lot of fighting. Scratch now has razor-sharp wings inspired by Jango Fett and....well, Grounder's handy drills were made a bit bigger.
