Megatron is a total bitch to draw, but he came out okay in my own style(I refuse to be a screenshot xerox machine. I use screenshots just as refs for the placement of features, nothing else). I like how Optimus looks, too
His smile is so sweet and open. While it's halfway decent, I'm still debating on coloring it. I'm afraid color might ruin it.

Awwww.... Color iiiiit!!!! If I owned it I would color it (I just LOOOOOVE to color (dam good at it too, I won a drawing contest) but I also like to draw) color it..... Or I will just Download it, and color it, and then hide it on my Computer..........

LOL He is! I have no experience drawing mecha/Transformers stuff, so I can only try and hope for the best XD Plus the scanner I had at the time was utter crap and it ate a lot of my lineart!

I've seen Rinny's drawings of Megs--gorgeous (I think she's a tad obsessed--which is a good thing). And so is yours. This came out SOOOO good. Optimus looks so damn young.

LOL He does look young till he pulls up that mask and then he looks more serious. But without it he has kind of a boyishly pretty face. I don't even say "handsome" when I describe Optimus--he's "pretty".
Megatron and Unicron fit the description for "handsome"--but Optimus and Starscream are "pretty boys".
LOL I have such a pattern with that! Though one is more delicate looking than the other, I don't think I make one personality that much more dominant than the other. Or the roles switch depending on the fic.

Its not weird, its just an easier thing to do with bots that really, facially (armor aside) don't have to look either male or female. There aren't really genders here, so you have the freedom to do what ever you want to.

Then Optimus could pass as "androgynous" because you could put his head on a femme body and it would still look as natural as it does on his current body.
The femme statement is just an example. If you tried the same with Unicron or Megs, it'd look wrong. But Optimus and Starscream could be either.
