Description Uhhhh, well, this took me a month & a half at least to finish, like, I did most of it in one day and ever since school, a bit on the weekends. Like, I don't even know. I wanted this done or something so bad. I'm not exactly proud of it now, but. eh. I also need to work on dimming random sources of light because of the whole eye-gets-attracted thing and the foregroud-detail background-lessdetail blahhh

I guess what I was trying to do in this drawing was express how I wanted to get away or something but uh. It turned out to be a SPAAAAMMM TINYBALLSOFFIRE

Oh wow!

The longer I look at it, the more I notice.

how the ice(?) fades into the darkness of space,

how the light from the portal causes the stars to shine,

and that comet too.

Not to mention that the texture of the ice is gorgeous.

Incredible job with this Goldy!

Without the light from the portal,

I'd imagine the setting to be a cold dark prison full of unstable floating chunks of ice.

At least, it certainly doesn't seem like a particularly safe place.

(Though I'm not familiar with the story behind this place so I could be off by a long shot)

Then, from Andromeda's expression, I assume that light is something not common in that dimension.

Perhaps the radiance even represents a sort of....hope?

In that sense, it shares a similar feeling with "I bleed these colors".

Since both have characters that appear to be looking, hoping, and wishing for more.

Like, usually when I draw something I don't think much behind it, and there's almost no planning and a lot of it is improvising as I go. So, everything that you came up with there totally took me by surprise, cause you saw more in it than I did. xD

But yeah, I guess you got the overall feeling right,and maybe i should stop arting on a certain week because i notice a trend in my gallery and sometimes i dunno but I get so sick of drawing characters that are staring into the distance because sometimes symbolism gets so boring and i think from now on whenever I feel like drawing vent art I will draw milk jugs because uh because. But then that'll be a representation of my feeling of not wanting to adhere to the normal standards of vent art and for gods sake everything is freaking symbolism okay wow WHAT AM I DOING I guess its just cause of my lack of talking to you guys.
