When I looked at this, the first thing I thought of was "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". I'm not sure if that's what you intended it to portray or not, though.

I glanced at your other work and I'd have to say that the ribbon theme is definitely one of my top favourites. It's simple and yet able to evoke so many different messages and such a wide range of emotions- depending simply on the way the ribbon is photographed on specific people and body parts. It's creative and original.

This piece (and the picture with the ribbon around the arm) caught my eye first.

I like this one because it provides us with three faces- all almost unnaturally calm- and all with different messages to portray. And yet they're all connected. Obviously the man in the middle stands out the most because we can neither identify him by his eyes or his mouth, but I like how the two people on either side of him almost look mischievous. The person on the left has a slight smile on his/her lips and the person on the right has some sort of amused look in his/her eyes.

You can't help but wonder if they tied the man in the middle up, or what exactly the situation is that's going on.

I'm not sure if I read too much into what was meant to be a simple photo manipulation, but I saw that you wanted critiques and thought I'd give you one that I think you worked hard to deserve. I'm afraid I can't offer my advice or opinion about the way this photo was put together technically, but from one artist to another I thought I'd offer you my interpretation.

A good job, indeed.

big thanks
for having stopped to write
Your Comment
you are getting exactly my message
lead the viewer to linger on the dynamics between the red ribbon and people
try to feel the excitement and wonder what people really think the photos
My effort is to create something artistically valid
not only from the technical point of view
and reading your critic
I think I've had some success
big thanks
