Just as Koi was charging forward in attack, he caught sight of the feathers making up her frills start to move into a stand. Immediately, he skidded to a halt; anticipating whatever kind of attack from her to befall him in retaliation. His stomach dropped when he met her eyes, their previous luster and shine of their purple clouding over into a cold and crisp lavender. Then, they began to change color.
“I will not be spoken to in that way, lowly Luco.”
Koi backed away and pulled his sturdy wings in and around himself as a subconscious reaction to defend. She smiled as he grit his teeth and bared them, growling lowly.

“Good boy,”
At her condescending words, he bristled and growled even more, however still made no move to continue his advance.

She turned back to completely face him, the sun beaming into the cave from the entrance behind her, nearly making her stark white fur blind him. But he still kept his eyes pinned on her all the while. Then, deciding that it wasn’t a complete waste of time to tell this lowly Luco her name— as this creature had made it known that it was of definite interest and amusement to her— she spread her large and soft wings, puffed up her pastel yellow frills majestically to shine in the sunlight, and spoke in a particularly languorous manner,
“Listen well, Luco, for I am of a higher class above you entirely. My name is Celeste.”
