“So what then? You talk like you’re all high and mighty. What’s your reason for being here? What do you want?”
Koi growled unhappily, still irked that she had some kind of foreign power over him in some way. He needed to gage just exactly what she was if he was going to over power her in some way and regain his dignity. But that would mean trying to get close to her… He didn’t know if he was capable of doing such a thing, especially with an unknown and unpredictable creature like her.
“You still can’t understand that I am?” She giggled so sweetly serene, and Koi said nothing, instead choosing to glower at her even more across the cave. She took his silence as another signifier of his low standing underneath her and smiled wider in amusement.

“What’s your reason for being here?” He repeated again, demanding an answer. Was this island in danger from her or not? Should he start running for another place to call home? Apart from all the other possible islands in the vicinity of that ocean, this particular island was the only one that wasn’t overrun by their natural predators. Still full of other disagreeable and dangerous Lucos of his kind though…

“I simply wish to be entertained.” She replied, making his wings jerk up in astonishment.

“What? That’s it?”
“But of course. My homekind is just full of boring traditional order and rules. I heard the Underworld had no such order, and I wanted to experience it for myself. And, I must admit, I think I’m starting to enjoy myself here…”
There was an underlying statement to her words that she knew well to express, and he was edging away from her shameless approach to— well, he didn’t want to think about it— but he was struggling to fight off his body’s natural reaction and chemistry to her alluring seduction. Despite having a lot of practice to avoid such a thing happening to him with other female Lucos in his age and vicinity, he wanted to die before succumbing to what just occurred only several hours prior between him and this— this thing!
