It does look like weight gain on her part; maybe she'll be alright, just receiving a few pounds. That can't hurt. I hope it turns out that way~
Plus, it'd only make sense; if she's a traveler walking through the woods and is miles away from civilization, then the very hospitable plant has the nice thought to give her some energy. I think that's how the story should go.

Well no, it is never the "last" chapter when it comes to these tales, and for those interested, I will be attempting to have this kept going by another artist until C0re1 resurfaces (though, God knows where our hero is). I've already got some artists on deck, vetting them through practice series and pictures to see which one is up to the task of continuing this tale of tantalizing damsels in distress, though I'm really just stalling in hopes that the Great One returns to his thrown.
