I haven't done this before, so sorry if I did it wrong. xD;;This is a dA journal skin~ It's the first I've made without a template. ;u;
I hope you all enjoy it!

You need this!! Put it in the main box for the journal text. ♥
Remove the spaces between '' to make it work!
Important note: If there isn't enough content in the main box, the sidebar will spill out the bottom. ^ ^;;
I don't know how to change this, as I'm really a noob at CSS. I'm sorry! ;A; My solution is to just press enter a heap of times before the '' end of the main content divs and adjust as needed in preview.

Nice color scheme, it's very subdued (in a good way)
Do you have the sidebar set to some kind of fixed or minimum length? If not, and the position is fixed...you may be able to put it in the footer and have the whole .text area stretch automatically to fit it (it's been a little while, but from what I remember the footer--but not the header--is included within .text). I'm also assuming you have the journal content in a separate box.
Also, mood should be fairly easy to fix for this
