i didn't know that....i always thought x-23 was a clone of wolverine....or something....it's just what i know from x-men evolution....and i just thought that she would look cooler like an asian, you know...in my head, maybe when the clone was made, the DNA was modified and combined with other DNA's, from different nations, but eventually she turned out looking like an asian; after her birth, she was taken to japan and trained as a ninja to develop her abilities and make her the perfect assassin the drawing has nothing to do with the comics stories i just made a "re-desingn" or something like that

Oh, but why redesign such a beautiful character?

The truth is that she first appeared in X-Men evolution, but her story was rerouted by Kyle and Yost and she was introduced into the regular Marvel Universe (or Earth 616).

There, she isn't a perfect clone. She's a somewhat quasiclone, part clone so to speak. True, part of her DNA is Wolverine's, but she has a mother: the woman who gave birth to her, Sarah Kinney. That's why she has green eyes, like Sarah's (actually she was originally made to be the spitting image of her mother) and not blue like Logan. She was raised inside the revamped Weapon X facility (or something like that) and she was taught martial arts by an old Japanese sensei.

Hm..come to think of it, I've always thought of the Age of Apocalypse X to be Asian. She certainly LOOKED Asian to me. Heh.

I don't wanna reply to a six year old comment, but...I wholeheartly agree. X-23's apparence isn't borke, so there's no need to ''fix'' her.
