Concept sketches for KxK cubs, triplets from oldest to youngest. Jangwa being the crown princess, and Faraja and Hati the Royal Guard Commanders.

Jangwa is the trickster of the trio, confident and smart, Princess who didn’t exactly want the responsibilities but wasn’t gonna let anyone else have the title either. She eventually grows out of her cockiness and calms down, but not without the help of her sisters.

Faraja is the kind and mature one, with vast strategy skills and understanding of bigger patterns of the nature. She can see where decisions will lead, and is always there to offer council to her sisters, especially Jangwa, but never oversteps.

Nishati, or Commander Hati is a grumpy, quick-tempered warrior, who won't hesitate to speak her mind. Sometimes her ruthless critisism is very much called for in the sisters' inner dynamic, for it forces Jangwa to shut up and offers Faraja a chance to speak up. Nishati is smart in her own way, and has a brilliant sense of humor, despite being much quieter than Jangwa.
