captures the eye... looks like taken out of those black and white movies, how did you do that?

It was taken at dusk so the original was quite dark so I lightened the shadow area and highlights slightly...increased the black In the colour version then converted It to black and white and then finally added an infared filter to It...the sky was really dull In the original, I like how It turned out In the end though
