Sooooooooooo, context? Context. Yeah, context is good.

So this is a comic strip I was working on since Friday. Simply put; Ruben gets onto the Watch Tower of the DC Superheroes (possibly through that portal door I sketched a while back) but gets caught and ends up in the mercy of Wonder Woman's Lasso Of Truth.

This scenerio started with an idea of me being in a self-insert scenerio of the Wonder Woman origin story. You know: crash lands on Paradise Island, gets captured by the Amazons, gets ropped into the Lasso of Truth to show that I'm not a threat to them, etc. But I didn't want to just rewirte the Wonder Woman, espeically since I could never do that story justice given it was perfectly done twice (once animated and once in live action) so I dumped that idea.

But I working on several other DC themed ideas, includign a story featuring me and a close friend of mine but we'll get to that at a later date.

Also, here's one of the 2 questions you guys are probably asking: "Why is Amanda Waller in the Watch Tower?". Well, I always wanted to make my own DC canon where the Watch Tower is basically the world's capital of superheroes and Waller is the head of the agency that assigns heroes their jobs, that way it'd be like a goverment agency and not a bunch of vigilaties.

It'd be like the DC Super Hero Girls web series but iiiiiiiin spaaaaaaaaace!~ And the heroes are about 20-something instead of being bland teeange versions of themselves.

However, side note here; I was formally introduced to Waller vis the D.C.S.H.G. web series and I was personally kinda ticked when I found out that literally every other version of Waller is a full figured woman and not some thin-ish curvy woman. I guess Mattel (the company behind the web series and its dolls) didn't think they could market her with a realistic body type. So, in order to go against that BS Barbie body biases, I gave Waller a sort of thicc shape the best that I could.

The other question you're probably wonder is "Are all of those things Ruben blurted true, since Ruben's a cartoon version of yourself?". And, to a certain extent, yes.

I am scared of germs, roaches, the depression that comes with me failing at literally anything and dodgeball because I hate getting hit in the head with a ball.

I did have a habit of picking my nose as a kid (but then again, who didn't?)

I do snack on pretzels a lot instead of eating healthy.

I do snore and drool in my sleep (again: who doesn't?)

And that is in fact a list of of the superhero characters I had a crush on within the last, say, 8 to 10 years of my existence. Not all of them, though: I forgot about Black Canary, Poision Ivy, Giganta, Cat Woman, Big Barda, Raven, Lois Lane--look, if I did an actual list of every single fictional character I had a crush on, even in a specific franchise, we'd be here all day.

I wanted to make this comic athentic so I wrote things that are true, but at the same time, I didn't want to say too many personal things. I think I evened it out.

Anyways, expect more comic strips like this with DC characters, and maybe some from other franchises I like too.
