sad days as I dream
Of this one coming
I feel you and your pain

What could have been?
Can never be...still dream
I am so far away from you

Feeling you need to be held
Forever tear roll down
As always on this day

New places and faces
Next week no way
To make contact

For my heart remains cold
Still waters run deep
On this dark day

So much to say
The pain that
Won’t go away

Happy for what
Could have been
Sadness forever

As this day
Comes around
Year after year

Now time stands still
Until then together again
Shall I be near
