For a new group that I'd like to try and join -> I'll need to work more on his application, though I think I'll like using this kid if I get in.

Cool, calm, and collected, Verith is a very level headed individual at times, however that doesn't mean he can't lose it, especially when his height is brought up. He cares deeply for his friends, and will try to encourage them to do their best. His demeanor shows how laid back he can be, as he's been known to simply take a nap in a tree, music playing through his headphones, without a real care in the world. Now, he may be quiet at times, but he's quite confident of himself, not backing down from a challenge.

There are times however when he belittles himself, though this only actually happens when he's truly upset, whether it be because of his mishaps in training, his lack of sociability with others, or on the rare occasion, his overall shyness around girls his age. This is also when he's either completely silent, or very timid on the subject of speaking his mind, though he will around those he's grown close or attached to.

History:
Born in the forest themed city known as Foretree City, Verith was always seen as the smallest of his siblings, which really got to him at times. Sometimes he would be teased for his small stature. This caused him to become a bit antisocial and wary towards others, staying in his room as it was one of the few places he could escape the taunting. This displeased his father, a proud Salamence who was known for his strength. Seeing his youngest son act weakly caused him to force the boy out of the house and to the outskirts of the city where he would begin teaching Verith the meaning to be strong. At first, Verith was reluctant, as he just wanted to keep to himself and escape from the outside, however he soon began to grasp the idea that having confidence in yourself, no matter what others may say, made a difference. This made his father very proud, and surprised his mother, a Sceptile, when she saw her son's change in demeanor.

Now, he may have gained confidence in himself, but he was still a bit annoyed by his height. This did make him a bit...angry at times, though he learned to channel that anger into constructive things, such as art and martial arts, which he learned from his brother and sisters. Throughout his schooling life, Verith showed great potential, revealing that he had above average intelligence, which made his parents question about taking him out of his current school and possibly transferring him to an academy. Finally Verith felt as though he truly fit in, though he didn't want to be seen as average. Nay, the Treeko wanted to live life in his own way, going with the wind rather than following what was truly seen as the norm. This prompted the young boy to begin adventuring into the woods around the city, finding little trinkets he kept in a satchel. Sometimes he'd run off after school, which also got him in trouble with his parents. They were glad to see he was expressing an adventurous side, however he hadn't come home from school, which caused them to worry. Verith knew his parents meant well, but he felt as though they were trying to put a shackle on him, making him feel a bit uneasy now. Soon ran out of the house and climbing onto the roof to be alone.

He sat atop the roof for a while, alone until his older brother Virgil, a Grovyle, joined him. Verith usually enjoyed his brothers presence, as Virgil was the only one in the house he felt he could truly relate to. Virgil commented on how the night sky was filled with stars, however he wasn't doing this for idle chit chat, but rather to teach Verith a lesson on life. Virgil began to explain that everything happens for a reason, and that nothing should be rushed, as it could lead to unintended consequences. Verith asked his older brother what he meant, to which Virgil replied, stating that Verith should learn to control his adventurous side. With this in mind, Verith began to realize the error of his ways, returning inside with his brother to apologize to his parents.

Later in Verith's life, his parents would inform him of an academy established for teaching Pokemon like him, Pokemon who showed that they were academically gifted. They asked him his opposition on possibly attending the academy, to which he replied happily, though he did his best to hide his joy, as it seemed out of character to him. He then asked why they brought it up, to which his father replied, telling his son it was the academy he had attended when he was Verith's age. Feeling as though this was an opportunity of a lifetime, he began to pack up his things, taking with him a journal that Virgil gave him, as well as a few post cards in case he needed to write home. With all of these things with him, Verith set off to try and attend St. Mortiel, hoping that this change in pace for his life would make his parents proud, as well as give him new experiences towards his future.

During the time that the students had their personalities switched, Verith, along with several others, stayed the same. Instead of looking passed all of it, Verith began searching for answers which slowly began to get him into trouble with nega Mavi after bumping into the Chinchou. It wasn't until Mavi decided to try and take Nico away after he'd confused and paralyzed the Treecko, leaving the boy on the floor, that Verith finally evolved, having experienced cancelled evolution the previous days.

Level-up Moves:
-Pound: The target is physically pounded with a long tail or a foreleg, etc.
-Leer: The opposing team gains an intimidating leer with sharp eyes. The opposing team's Defense stats are reduced.
-Absorb: A nutrient-draining attack. The user's HP is restored by half the damage taken by the target.
-Quick Attack: The user lunges at the target at a speed that makes it almost invisible. It is sure to strike first.
-Pursuit: An attack move that inflicts double damage if used on a target that is switching out of battle.

TMs/HMs/Egg Moves/Tutor Moves:
-Energy Ball ( TM ): The user draws power from nature and fires it at the target. It may also lower the target's Sp. Def.
-Bullet Seed ( egg move ): The user forcefully shoots seeds at the target. Two to five seeds are shot in rapid succession.
-Dragon Breath ( egg move ): The user exhales a mighty gust that inflicts damage. It may also leave the target with paralysis.
-Double Team ( TM ): By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to raise its evasiveness.

-As of late, Verith has been having trouble using Energy Ball, usually ending up with the attack exploding in his face, misfiring, or in the rare occasion unsuccesfully forming a sphere. Thanks to the inspiration of a certain vanilla vixen, Verith has regained some control over Energy Ball, though he'r still got a ways to go until he masters the attack.
-Looks up to a certain Sceptile attending Armonia as both a role model, and hopefully a mentor if the boy could build up the courage to spar.
-Being a Treecko, Verith is indeed capable of scaling surfaces, even climbing upside down on cielings, however he does have his limitations such as being unable to climb up ice.
-Wakes up rather early, though he's rather tired and sluggish in the mornings and thus usually goes back to bed
-Aside from reading, relaxing in trees, and listening to music, Verith also enjoys baking sweets ranging from cookies to cakes. Though he considers it a hobby, his siblings sometimes tell him it could be a career for him in the future
-Gotten a little bit braver over the break
-After evolving, Verith has become much braver than before, however he's still the same at heart no matter how courageous he may act.
