Pfffft I can't be the only one that wished this happened, right? Right?! lol Just having some fun with Orochimaru. I'm sorry but I won't stop drawing him for a while now. >8P So you're just going to have to grin and bear it for now. Enjoy!PS: Also I suck at drawing snakes. Took me almost four tries to get that head right. Harrumph!

....I honestly have no idea. Haha I think it was the whole fact that who couldn't find a body that could absorb natural chakra the kept him from doing it? And obviously it's not his original body anymore......but yeah I have no clue. XD

Your right the two main reasons he could not do sage mode transformation are
1-His constant switching between bodies made him unable to master nature chakra
2-Snake Sage transformation requires an actual snake body and although Orochimaru was pretty voldermort-esque it was not at the same level as Kabuto who pretty much butchered his DNA to acheive Snake/Dragon form
-SIDE NOTE- It is also theorised that Orochimaru's great white snake transformation was akin to Sage/Curse Mark transformation

Haha ah well. XD I find lately it's hard to keep track of what's happening. Also for me I just skim the chapters because I'm starting to lose interest in the comic but want to keep going because I've been reading it for so long. XD

Oh yeah, I understand that kind of obsession; I'm like that with Tenzou (with Oro too, but mostly Tenzou).
I espeeeecially have a creepy obsession with the pairing between the two; I've made art, fan fics, a DA group, and ask-Tumblr, cosplays... ANYTHING to do with them (I'm planning on dedicating an entire wall in my future appartment to them as well).

Haha Well technically Orochimaru was capable of becoming sage. Like he had the ability but he couldn't because of the body he was in at the time couldn't absorb natural energy. >_> But yeah this whole war thing is just a mess. I find it hard to keep track everyone and then they just focus on Naruto and main crew anyways. Like they brought back Kimimaro and did he have an epic fight? I don't recall. I don't even know what happened to him. @_@ But at least Kabuto is a threat now. Before he was just a snivelling side kick but now people can take him seriously...but mostly because he's almost like Orochimaru. lol

Kimimaro hasn't been seen since he's been brought back...and frankly, I wish he'd never been brought back. He'll just either die again, or become a protagonist somehow. Ah, tis a curse of mine to always love the bad guys. They always end up defeated. The main thing that pissed me off was when they brought back Haku (one of my early favorites and still holds the #2 spot for me) and then had him die...again....the same way....It took the meaning out of his first, beautiful, perfect death.

Ugh....what kind of a loser attacks someone who's sick in bed....I swear, sasuke has ruined so much for me....That's another thing that bothered me. Main villains like Oro-sama normally go out with a bang when they die, so I at least feel a little justified....No, he just kinda frittered out....Same thing with Randall Flagg in The Stand, but I digress XD
