It was then that they heard 'Rico' as a slightly disheveled older woman with a lead and collar in hand jogged towards them and scooped the now franticly wiggling puppy into her arms. Cavan felt a moment of caution before the endless kisses and excited whines as well as the woman's releived gasps and tears made him realise that this had to be the pups owner. He stood there and watched, with a relief that they had found the owner as much as a sadness that he would say goodbye. Nora seeming to sense his mood leaned against him and held his hand. He squeezed hers in thanks and smiled at the woman as she thanked them and told an entirely unashamed Rico of for worrying her.

"Not a problem, we are just happy to help." He nodded politely and waved his free hand and pointed at himself "I'm Cavan, this is Nora."

"Marie Fortier and this is Elmsborough Ricochet, Rico, who is a very naughty young man."

"Well he certainly got himself a little adventure, but I'm glad i stumbled across him and could get him back home." Cavan reached out to pat the little dog. Rico gave him a very quick lick before returning his excitement to the woman. Cavan was happy that clearly Rico was very excited to find his human again, and wistful about the fact that a few minutes ago he had been on the receiving end of that affection. He had not even been considering owning a dog right now, but handing the pup back made him suddenly wonder.

Dragging himself out of those thoughts he excused himself to inform the stewards inside of the happy reunion, and then rejoined Nora and took her hand. He didn't want to interrupt the women talking but eventually during a good break in the conversation he took the chance. "I'm very to help reunite you both, but we have to get moving if we still want some breakfast before i have to prepare for my class. Sorry to dart off" He apologised to Marie, realising she might find it rude to suddenly leave.

Thankfully she was understanding and still so thankful for having Rico back. Cavan knelt down and patted the pup, stroking his head for a moment and whispering "Lovely to meet you Rico", before he stood and farewell them both.
