She is! She's going to have her own Disney+ series and it's been confirmed that those characters will appear in the movies.Β

When I entered into the world of comics in late 2104 thanks to Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman from Edge of the Spider-Verse #2 (saw a preview online and decide that would be my only comic but instead it was my gateway).Β Soon I began reading comic amoung the first three characters and series I read was Gwen Stacy/Spider-Gwen, Cindy Moon/Silk, and Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel.Β Love all three and all three has a special place in my heart.
To discover Ms Marvel is going to have a MCU show and will appear in the movies has me very ecstatic.Β A TV show will be able to have the time to showcase Kamala, her wonderful cast (she has one of the best cast with many I love) and their own personal journeys, and certain topics handled in her comics to the small screen first then have her ready to make movie appearances.
Before when Spider-man was (currently) gone from the MCU (for films however not for TV so... Gwen, Miles, and even Peter still possible but just not for MCU films?) people were reacting "MCU is DEAD".Β After D23: "MCU...YOU'RE ALIVE!"

I wonder if she'll have all sorts of crossovers like in her original run. Though I really hope though go for a bit more serious tone in terms of villains. I mean, I appreciate comedy and all, but they can do better than an Edison-clone-bird.
Also, does this mean the terrigen mist was released some point in the MCU? Wonder how they'll explain that one.

Agreed, I get that her adventures are suppose to be about postivity and hopefullness, and basically the opposite of the 90s, but I can get really bored with her non-event stuff.Β Same thing with the new version of Wasp, even though she's suppose to deal with heavy things like brain washing and child soldiers.Β Β

The Inhumans and terrigen were handled in Agents of Shield and Inhumans, though I don't know how it'll get to her.
Kamala really does have an issue with serious threats for villains, but I'm also way more interested in her supporting cast.

Oh, definitely. But we'll see. I dunno, maybe the High Evolutionary? Though there has been talk about him in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I think she just needs to retool some of her villains. The AI (who's name escapes me) was a really good one, and Hydra wouldn't be a terrible idea.Β

Considering that the Phase 4 lineup will mostly consists of Hydra villains or characters relating to Hydra, that's both a stretch and a possibility. I could see Discord possibly working out as a villain, he didn't have much time in the comic but he had the possibility of being a pretty good villain.

I did pretty much the same thing, albeit with who ought to play Kamala Khan in the MCU: Afghan rapper Sonita Alizadeh.
