Honestly Mika, Really look at it and it's coloring. What if you Did that. Now, wouldnt you say , "Sheesh. I really could have done better. This could have been done alot better" The shading isnt at all real or even remotly close. Gah, Im sorry Im biting your head off. Im in a horrible mood.

O.o;;; I am sorry! Did I make you upset? But I do like the coloring. You should see my crud from back in the day...absolutely terrible. I should show some stuff from when I was 15. What happened? Why are you so down?

No, you didn't do anything Mika. I appreciate the comments, it's just Im disgusted with my progress. Weeks on, I've hardly made any progress. Im not satisfied with What Im doing. I Wanna get better, but Im stuck. I look up tutorials, I look up guides, but it's driving me crazy. There isn't a guide or a easy step to step that can help me shade/Draw accuratly/refine my characters and such better. Ultimatly it's up to me to progress. That's whats upsetting me. I cant grasp accurate Shading, or how to even preform it. I cant use Photoshop for my sketches because It never cleanly colors in the first place, or im just too hard headed and slow to understand the tutorial to begin with. Flash has it's perks, but I cant shade there. I cant use Photoshop, so Im ultimatly skrewed until I figure a way to use both of them. Shugo was lending me a hand earlier and showed me some things which helped. But, *smacks his forehead* I just cant grasp it, and it's driving me nuts! Not to mention, now, I think my original sketches look way better, then after I fix them up. Arn't they suppose to get better? And Mika, you dont need to show me your old stuff. Again, Im sorry if I Offended you, or anything of the sort during this rant D:

Oh I see. you are going through one of those down times. Don't worry you didn't offend me I was just worried. there is a way to color cleanly with photoshop and clean up your line work. You should try gesture drawing to work with figures. The fun thing about it is that you can just toss it aside if you don't like it because they are just warm up excises anyways.

I went through a stage like you before, and my human anatomy class helped a lot (even though I still got along way to go). Also...did you want me to scan my Wizard book? Even though they are American style there are a lot techniques in there that can help you! Tutorials are one thing but learning from the experts is another.

I like it because it helps you with your core skills. AND HEY! I have a book that breaks down the basics with coloring on photoshop.

Point is, I really want to help. You have great potential, I hate to see you going through this. Never give up and you'll improve. Plus, it's a good thing to want to do better, that just proves your getting better...well, that what my teacher always said.
